We are thrilled to be getting married at the beautiful St. Mary's Church, Tadcaster, North Yorkshire.
Originally built in the 15th Century, the church is located off Kirkgate, next to what was formally the town’s market square – now a free car park.
The Britannia Car Park provides a second free parking option, which is a 6-minute walk from the church. The choice is yours!
We kindly request that guests arrive and are seated by 11.45.
Eco-friendly confetti will be provided; there's no need to bring your own!
Our wedding reception will be held at Hazlewood Castle Hotel & Spa. It is a 10-minute drive from Tadcaster, and there is plenty of free parking available.
Surrounded by 77 acres of stunning woodland, the hotel offers 32 beautiful bedrooms, some of which are located in the castle building itself!
If you wish to book a room, please contact the venue on 01937 535302, quoting reference number 64064. Alternatively, you can send an email to info@hazlewood-castle.co.uk. As we have pre-reserved rooms, our guests will be unable to book online.
A discounted rate for the rooms has been negotiated, although these are limited in number and are available on a first come, first served basis.
Please note that the hotel accepts card payment only.
Following the wedding feast, it’s party time in the castle grounds!
There will be a teepee, bar and dance floor. Wood-fired pizzas will be served later in the evening.
You may choose to bring a change of shoes, so you can dance the night away! Also, due to the nature of the woodland venue, the ground may be uneven.
In addition to Hazlewood Castle & Spa, there are several other hotels within the local area…
Any vehicles left overnight must be moved off-site by 12:00 (noon) the following day.
Both St. Mary's Church and Hazlewood Castle are easily accessible by car, with ample free parking available at both.
Guests are requested to make independent travel arrangements between the two venues. If travelling by taxi, we recommend pre-booking.
For guests not planning to stay overnight at Hazlewood Castle, carriages should be at 00:00 (midnight).

As we're so lucky to have a home together, we have decided not to request wedding gifts. However, if you would like to mark the occasion of our marriage with a gift, then we would be more than grateful to receive a small contribution towards our future travel plans.
